Did you know that Petersburg families can get a family pass to the Science Museum of Virginia (SMV) for free?
That's right. The Science Museum of Virginia and Petersburg Public Library have collaborated on a fantastic way for Petersburg families to enjoy a fun and educational family outing!
With your free Petersburg Public Library card, you can check out a Family Pass that provides free admission for two adults and four kids. This pass is valid for up to two weeks and can be used twice a year per household.
Show your pass at the SMV Guest Services desk when you arrive to explore exhibits, artifacts, technology, animals, and live demonstrations!
The Science Museum of Virginia is part of the Museums For All initiative, a program provides free or discounted admission to participating museums across the country.
The museum offers a $25 membership for eligible families.
